Reporting to Parents
The following is a 2015 schedule for school-wide reporting to students and parents:
Term 1
- Meet the Teacher evening – Tuesday 10 February 7.30pm
- Parent interviews Wednesday 25 February 2 – 8.30pm
- Sharing of work in classrooms Thursday 2 April 8.30 – 9.30am
Term 2
- Written report for reading, writing and maths Friday 26 June
- Parent Interviews Wednesday 1 July 2-8.30pm
Term 3
- Sharing of work in classrooms Thursday 24 September 8.30-9.30am
Term 4
- Written report for all curriculum areas provided Friday 11 December
- Parents are invited into classrooms at the end of terms 1 and 3 for the purpose of students sharing their learning using display boards, digitally, and/or exercise books
- Mid-year reports written in plain language using National Standards include reading, writing, maths and a general comment section. End-of-year written reports include all curriculum areas and key competencies. These are based on overall teacher judgements
- Parents are welcome to make an appointment via the school office to see a class teacher at any other times during the year should they have any queries or concerns. The principal has an open-door policy and is always pleased to see parents as well.
