Code of Conduct

The following Code of Conduct is in place for all students, staff, and parents to ensure courtesy and respect in all situations, including on social media. 

  1. Be punctual and ensure students arrive at school on time each day, no later than 8.55am.
  2. Ensure students attend school every day unless unwell and are committed to taking holidays in holiday time only. This includes extended leave for visiting families overseas. Seeking approved absence for exceptional circumstances must be communicated with, and approved by, the school Principal.
  3. All students are expected to participate in all curriculum activities, including swimming, cross country, athletics and camp unless there are medical concerns.
  4. Respect towards referees and other parent helpers on the side line is expected when watching student sport, regardless of opinion. Any concerns should be communicated to the school.
  5. Be diligent with ensuring students complete assigned homework each week.
  6. Students who disrupt the learning of others will not be tolerated.
  7. No cell phones or smart phones are permitted at school unless permission has been granted because of a special reason.
  8. Wear the school uniform correctly and with pride.
  9. Ensure any sports uniforms issued by the school are returned at the end of the season clean and in good condition.
  10. Read the fortnightly newsletter every second Thursday to keep abreast of school happenings.
  11. Demonstrate respect and consideration towards others including appropriate use of language.
  12. Demonstrate respect for all school property.
  13. Uphold the reputation of the school at all times.
  14. Be willing to support the school by contributing time, help or expertise as needed.
  15. Do not post any school-related activities on social media where students of the school are identifiable, other than your own child.
  16. Ensure contact is made with the school if you have any concerns.
