Regional and National Winners!
The newspaper group of Emily Coyle, Leah Wilks, Jack Collinson and Joel Cattell won this year's NZ Herald Design a Front Page of a Newspaper Competition for Hauraki again. This year we were thrilled to also be overall regional winners. The team won $1,000 and a digital camera for the school. You can see their winning design here.

Mangrove Maniacs!
Year 5 students, Nina, Leah, Jack C and Joel worked on a special project studying our local mangroves. Have a look at their fantastic web pages at the Living Heritage website.

Congratulations to the "Hot Stuff" newspaper team of Patrick, Susannah, Ellen and Liesbet (and their teachers!) for being one of the five top primary schools in NZ in the Herald's Design a Front Page of a Newspaper Competition!

National Website Competition Winners!
A team of Year 4 students, Kate Fogarty, Joel Cattell and Jack Collinson won the Primary Team category in the national TNVZ/Netguide webdesign competition. Their website was on NZ Disasters and they were honoured to be presented their prizes by Prime Minister Helen Clark.
